Steve Andler, VP of Marketing, Networks In Motion
According to Nielsen Mobile’s Q4 Mobile Application Report on usage and revenue from wireless applications, Networks In Motion (NIM) led the location-based services (LBS) industry in the U.S. with 57 percent share of revenue from the top four U.S. carriers. Prior to NIM, Steve Andler, NIM’s VP of marketing, was VP marketing for the computer group of Toshiba, Fujitsu and Phoenix Technologies. Andler also held several roles at Apple where he re-launched the Newton PDA Platform and orchestrated the turnaround of the PowerBook division. He has spoken about LBS at a variety of events including CTIA Wireless multiple times.

Doug Antone, CEO, Networks In Motion
Doug Antone, Networks In Motion (NIM) president and CEO, has been in the technology business for over 20 years and is an expert source on GPS and LBS. Antone led NIM to develop the most widely used mobile phone navigation applications in the world and is currently working on an advertising business model and incorporating advertising into the company’s LBS platform. Julie Ask, VP & Research Director, JupiterResearch
As a Research Director with JupiterResearch, Julie Ask focuses on evolving trends in the telecommunications – specifically wireless - industry, examining both the marketing and technology issues these companies face as they look to deploy new technologies and services to enhance their businesses. JupiterResearch's wireless coverage examines business models, technology trends, and consumer behavior and attitudes to provide strategic advice and insight to those in the industry or those looking for a presence on the "third screen." Ask joined JupiterResearch in May 2001. Ask's telecom experience dates back to her research at COMSAT Laboratories where as an engineer she did microwave circuit design - the focus of her graduate work. After graduating, she began her career in as an engineer in Germany. After earning her M.B.A., she worked for almost five years as a management consultant within the both the Operations Management and Communications Groups at Booz Allen & Hamilton where her primary area of focus was telecommunications strategy in the US and Europe. Prior to joining Jupiter Research, she worked as a Business Development and Product Marketing Manager for a wireless data company, Livemind, a start-up in San Francisco. Ask holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. She lives in San Francisco.

Frank Barbieri, CEO, Transpera
Frank founded Transpera with the vision of helping normal people enjoy new kinds of mobile video experiences. Frank formerly ran media products at InfoSpace and prior to that, ran the Windows Mobile Media Device and Services group at Microsoft. Frank also held a senior position at Onvia, a company he helped take public, and MSNBC where he drove the online video distribution business and interactive content division. He has most recently worked in the private equity industry doing mobile and entertainment strategy and portfolio company support. Frank started his career as a photojournalist documenting the plight of refugees globally.

Dave Bell, Vice President of Business Development, PlayPhone
Dave Bell has been involved in mobile entertainment and media since consumers began to purchase their first mobile handsets in the mid-1990s. Bell currently serves as the vice president of business development for PlayPhone, where he has spearheaded the company's content programming strategy and manages its business-to-business efforts. While at PlayPhone, Bell has secured relationships to distribute content for and power mobile destinations on behalf of some of the world's top retail and media companies including Wal-Mart, Sony BMG, ABC, Disney, EMI, Cartoon Network, RealNetworks, Vivendi Universal and many others. Prior to working with PlayPhone, Bell founded Chasma, one of the first publishers of branded, top-tier mobile games in North America. Under Bell's leadership as chief executive officer, Chasma pioneered innovative content for the CDMA BREW platform as one of QUALCOMM's first ten content partners. Before Chasmas sale to Kayak Interactive in 2005, the company had raised two rounds of venture capital from institutional and angel investors and launched more than a dozen branded and original products on hundreds of mobile devices. Bell has been a guest lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management and has been a featured participant at QUALCOMM's BREW Developers Conference, CTIA Wireless, the Mobile Entertainment Summit and E3. He has been profiled in Fortune Magazine, Inc. Magazine, Newsweek, the Boston Globe, Mass High Tech and CNNMoney. He was also included in the business management book Internet Technology and You: Thriving in the Internet Age, published by McGraw-Hill.

Chris Brunner, VP Mobile Content & Services, Univision Online
Christopher Brunner is vice president of mobile content & services at Univision Communications Inc., the premier Spanish-language media company in the United States. Chris is a seasoned mobile and digital convergence executive who has been at the forefront of this evolving media channel. He brings more than 14 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales management and operations In the past four and a half years he has been leading the mobile interactivity, content and mobile revenue for Univision Communications. He combines his experience in mobile channels, cross platform digital extensions with his understanding of the U.S. Hispanic market and expertise in entertainment and wireless sectors to deliver innovative, results oriented mobile solutions to audiences and marketing partners. Prior to Univision, Chris worked for Single Touch Interactive, Qualcomm Inc., CBS Storerunner and PRIMEDIA, Inc. Each of these executive engagements became platforms to his increasing role in shaping the mobile and digital industry. He also owned, and sold, two companies prior to joining Univision. Chris is active in a number of industry organizations including the Mobile Marketing Association (Board of Directors ’07), CTIA WIC Leadership Council, iHollywood, BREW and IAB (Mobile Committee) that ensure that he has continued leadership and impact in the digital convergence world. He attended the University of Arizona, where he majored in Political Science and History. He was also a Cavalry Scout in the United States Army. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, sailing, exercising, golfing, reading and traveling.

Brian Burke, Managing Director Corporate Development, Smashing Ideas
Brian Burke joined Smashing Ideas in 2005 and leads corporate and business development efforts at the studio, and has 10+ years of experience in online media and digital entertainment. Also serving as General Manager of Smashing Content, the mobile content division of Smashing Ideas, Brian and his team are building the Flash® Lite™ content ecosystem as the leading aggregator and distributor of mobile entertainment and applications. Prior to Smashing Ideas, Brian held leadership positions at several pioneering digital companies, including Zango, Inc., where he served as Senior Director, creating the company’s online content business, and Atom Entertainment (now an MTV Networks company) as the Vice President of Syndication, where he built the company’s multi-screen, content syndication business. Brian also held senior roles at Vendaria Media Inc, and Imation Publishing Software (formerly a division of Adobe). He received his M.A. in European Studies from K.U. Leuven, Belgium and earned his B.A. in Communications Studies at Seattle University.

Sean Byrnes, Co-founder and CTO, Flurry
Sean Byrnes, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder at Flurry – Sean previously worked in the eServices group at Verizon Communications, developing new consumer services from emerging technologies. He conceived and then lead the deployment of Verizon's New York City-wide WiFi network, named one of the top 10 innovations of 2003 by Yahoo!. The following year, he led the deployment of Verizon's Voice wing (VoIP) service in only 5 months from conception to release, winning Verizon's Masters Award for his contributions. He has been interviewed by the NY Times and Linux World about innovation in telecommunications. Sean holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College in Engineering and an M.Eng. from Cornell University in Computer Science.

Susan Cashen, VP of Marketing, mywaves
Susan Cashen, Vice President, Marketing Susan runs mywaves, Inc.’s global marketing activities, driving acquisition, and brand and corporate awareness for the company. She brings 20 years of consumer marketing experience to mywaves, having worked with many of the top brands in the digital entertainment space. Before joining mywaves, Susan worked for DVR pioneer, TiVo. She started in 1999 with the marching orders to build TiVo into a consumer brand and in 2003, assumed responsibility for TiVo’s outbound marketing managing customer acquisition and retention, advertising, direct and online marketing and PR. In 2005, Susan worked as a consultant for SutherlandGold, a firm that specializes in building brand awareness for consumer technology and digital media companies. Susan holds a B.A. with honors in Russian studies from Hamilton College, Clinton, NY. She serves on the board of the MVLA High School Foundation and lends assistance to CAR, an organization that helps the developmentally disabled and FLY, a group dedicated to supporting at-risk youth. An avid runner and cyclist, Susan hits the picturesque Bay Area roadways whenever she can.

Prior to Greystripe, Erica was the VP of Business Development for LimeLife Inc. where she brought in notable partners and licenses like NBCUniversal, Time Inc., Bravo Television and others. Erica was also the Director of Business Development for Digital Chocolate where she acquired and managed external relationships including OEMs and technology partners. Before Digital Chocolate, she worked for Bain & Company with the Telecom and Technology Practice to identify strategic development priorities. Albert Chu, VP, Marketing and Alliances, Access
Albert Chu is responsible for developing business and marketing alliances on behalf of ACCESS CO., LTD. with leading companies in the telecommunications, consumer electronics and media industries. As VP, Marketing & Alliances, he drives the ACCESS Connect Ecosystem partner program, a global ecosystem of companies that are setting the market direction for innovative converged technologies and solutions developed by ACCESS and its partners. In addition, Chu is responsible for the marketing operations for ACCESS Systems Americas. Chu came to ACCESS from PalmSource, where he was vice president of business development. From 1996 to 2002, Chu was the business development vice president at AT&T Labs, where he brought emerging technologies to market. In addition, he headed the OneComm Project Office, overseeing the product management, research and development, operations and business development of a suite of unified communications services for AT&T business units and external service providers. From 1982 to 1996, Chu was at Apple Computer, where his last position was vice president of corporate marketing alliances. His earlier responsibilities at Apple included product planning and strategy vice president in the Personal Interactive Electronics Division, marketing vice president in the New Media and Entertainment Division, and Japan business development director in Apple Pacific. He was responsible for the product marketing and product introduction teams for dozens of Apple's key products, including the Apple III, Newton, and Apple's localized products for the Japanese and Asia Pacific market. Chu has a degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and completed the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Bruce Crair, President & COO, Local.com
Bruce Crair has over 20 years of senior management experience leading public and private high technology companies. From 2003 to 2005, he served as co-founder and COO of ZeroDegrees, Inc., an Internet company that provided online social networking services to business professionals. Crair was president for Sprint PCS/Cox Communications PCS from 1995 to 1998, where he successfully built the wireless voice business in Southern California from inception to a leadership position in the PCS market. From 1999 to 2001, he was president and COO for eVoice, Inc., an integrated IP telephony services company, which was purchased by America Online in 2001. Crair now leads Local.com’s daily operations and drives the company’s mobile service, Local Mobile™.

Kevin Davis, President & CEO, Hollywood.com
Kevin Davis, President and Chief Operating Officer, joined Hollywood.Com, Inc. in August, 2007. Mr. Davis assumed the role overseeing the day-to-day management and development of Hollywood.com as well as network sales for the Hollywood Online Network including MovieTickets.com, HollywoodWiretap.com and various other entertainment web properties and fan sites. Mr. Davis is leading the company’s audience expansion strategy, including the development and acquisition of new online and media properties focused on the entertainment space. Prior to joining Hollywood Media Corp, Mr. Davis served at several companies in the entertainment, Internet and media industries. Most recently, he was Vice President of Product Development & General Manager of Variety Online the Web arm of leading global entertainment industry trade, Daily Variety. In addition Mr. Davis served as Group Publisher of the Variety’s Home Entertainment Group which included industry publications and web properties such as Video Business, Content Agenda (which he conceived & launched), and the “bible of film production” LA 411 and New York 411. Prior to joining the Variety Division at Reed Business Information, Mr. Davis spent eight years in online management consulting, where he worked with numerous leading entertainment clients including Disney, Warner Bros., Fox, Universal, Sony Pictures, CAA & Technicolor. His focus involved the launching of Internet businesses and the development of Web strategies for media and entertainment companies. Mr. Davis began his career working in sales and promotion for Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment. Davis has been a featured speaker, moderator and panelist for several industry trade shows, as well as been a guest lecturer at UCLA’s Graduate Program of Library Arts & Sciences and the Merril School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Born in the United Kingdom, Mr. Davis is a graduate of California State University, Northridge and he lives in Calabasas, CA with his wife and two children.

Prior to MobiTV, DeRenzo was Vice President of Business and Market Development for Telephia, where he focused on European market entry for this leading provider of syndicated competitive performance information and wireless consulting services. Previously, DeRenzo was Chief Marketing Officer at Vodafone, where he was responsible for all aspects of product management, development, sales and support of Vodafone’s Global Service Delivery Platform. Prior to Vodafone, DeRenzo focused on new product development for AirTouch Communications, a developer of new voice and data services. DeRenzo began his career at Pacific Bell/Pacific Telesis, where he spent nearly 18 years in a variety of roles. Scott Dunlap, CEO, NearbyNow, Inc.
As CEO of NearbyNow, Inc., Scott Dunlap brings over 14 years of experience in developing new Internet technologies to strengthen retailer connections with customers. At E.piphany, Inc., his product management team developed data mining and marketing technology to help retailers such as Charles Schwab, Microsoft, and Godiva better target and grow their customers. Later he joined the founding team of Loudcloud (now Opsware: OPSW) to operate and manage some of the largest e-commerce sites in the world for companies like Nike, Fannie Mae, Univision, and USA Today. As Senior VP, Advertising Strategy, Bill brings extensive advertising sales management experience to GoldSpot Media. Formally VP of Advertising Revenue and Strategy for QUALCOMM’s MediaFLO division, Bill established a successful ad sales strategy for the launch of the company’s mobile multicast video product. Previously with QUALCOMM as VP, General Manager for Eudora products, Bill restored the email division to nearly 3 years of profitability with the help of an advertising sales component supported by dozens of advertisers. Prior to Eudora, Bill served as Sales VP in the QIS division, leading BREW worldwide sales efforts to mobile operators and culminating in successful agreements with KTF (South Korea), KDDI (Japan) and Verizon Wireless. Preceding QUALCOMM, Bill held several executive ad sales positions at Newsweek, most recently as National Director of Sales Development.

Michael Gartenberg, VP of Mobile Strategy, Jupitermedia
Michael Gartenberg is a technology strategist, author and speaker, specializing in personal technology. In addition, Michael writes a business technology column for Computerworld magazine. Ben Gibson, Sr Director Mobility Solutions Marketing, Cisco
Ben Gibson brings over 15 years of networking industry experience to Cisco Systems, where he leads all outbound marketing initiatives for Cisco's Wireless LAN Business Unit. Prior to Cisco, Gibson served as Vice President of Marketing at both Meru Networks and Proxim Corporation, where he led global marketing, communications, investor relations, and channel marketing programs. During his tenures both at at Meru and Proxim, Gibson successfully positioned the companies in the emerging voice-over-WLAN and WiMAX markets, launched several new broadband wireless solutions targeting outdoor applications, and developed successful global channel and demand generation programs. Prior to Proxim, Gibson served as Director of Marketing at Atrica, Inc., where he helped establish the company as a leader in the Optical Ethernet market. Daren serves as Vice President and General Manager of Veveo’s consumer service vTap. Daren brings 13 years of media and entertainment experience to Veveo having performed a broad range of roles including executive management, marketing, sales and product management. Prior to Veveo, Daren served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at ChoiceStream. Before ChoiceStream, Daren was Senior Vice President Marketing at MusicMaker.com. Prior to joining MusicMaker, Daren served as COO of Putumayo World Music, a record label presenting the best in Latin, African, Reggae, Celtic and other world music compilations. Daren began his career as an attorney focused on entertainment law, but left private practice to co-found the Hear Music record label. Daren has J.D. from the University Of Connecticut School Of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the same University. A well-known interactive media pioneer, Otremba is a veteran operating executive and advisor in the Internet publishing, print, television and broadcast music industries. He's a frequent commentator on interactive marketing and operating strategies, presenting at such events as the Forbes CFO Conference, The Economist Conference, and numerous BusinessWeek, Internet World, and AdTech Conferences. Otremba currently sits on the board of EEI Communications, a leading provider of outsourced new media, print publishing and staffing services; Cardium Therapeutics, Inc., a publicly traded interventional cardiology company focused on the commercial development of myocardial-derived cardiovascular growth factor therapeutics; and Artes Medical, a privately held, vertically integrated medical technology company focused on the development of new and innovative products for the plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and dermatology markets. He also served on the executive board of the Interactive Advertising Bureau. Prior to joining Access 360 Media, Otremba was CEO of Muzak, LLC, the world's largest provider of commercial music services, where the company generated $245mm in revenues and $66mm in EBITDA during Otremba's tenure. His primary mission was to restructure all Muzak operations from top to bottom, including completely centralizing of the company's operations and introducing handheld technology to its 500+ technician force. Otremba also served as executive vice president of America Online's Interactive Marketing Group, a $720mm+ business responsible for developing and leading the short and long-term strategy and operations for AOL's advertising and e-commerce business turnaround. Many of the initiatives undertaken during his term formed the foundation for AOL's reemergence as an interactive marketing leader. He was also part of the team that launched Mail.com (now EasyLink Services Corporation), helped guide them through an IPO in 1999, and served as president and COO. Before that, he was one of the founding members of the CNET Networks management team, where he was executive vice president, responsible for developing CNET's highly successful revenue model in interactive media and television, and helped position the company for a successful IPO in 1996. Previously, he held various senior executive management positions at Ziff Davis Publishing and CMP Media. He began his career at Procter and Gamble.

Matthew Silk, Senior Vice President, Waterfall Mobile
Matthew Silk is Senior Vice President for Waterfall Mobile, Inc., responsible for corporate development, strategic partnerships, and client services. Prior to joining Waterfall Mobile, Silk held a number of senior positions with E*TRADE Financial.
